A review of Searching for Donkeys at amaSing, on the 1st of September, 2013.
Upon hearing the name Searching for Donkeys my imagination ran wild. The name left open so many possibilites of what the band might be like.
In reality, it seems that Searching for Donkeys are in fact just a lovely group of guys who seem to make enjoyable music whilst at the same time having a lot of fun. They seemed very at ease but at the same time kept the performance fresh and the cajon playing was particularly impressive. Every song they played seemed to have a fiesta feel to it and this was intriguing given that they don’t usually play unplugged.
Looking forward to hearing these guys on full throttle – the comparison should be worth the trip alone .
