Inverness based, three piece, He Slept on 57 play their last gig at the Ironworks on August the 30th.

Kyle Campbell with Stuart and Kevin Nelson have been on the Inverness scene for some time earning airplay from Steve Lamacq and Vic Galloway along the way. Tracks like ‘Childsmile’ and ‘Katie , Bar the Door’ easily evidence their indie-rock sensibilities that have drawn similarities to Biffy Clyro and probably more aptly Belladrum headliners, Twin Atlantic.
2011/12 EP release “A Glow from the Night Light” received strong praise and it is ironic or symbolic that their last gig will also mark the recent release of their final EP, ‘GATES
‘.
They have built a reputation for their live gigs with Stuart explaining; ” I sing from my heart and there is a lot of passion in our music so there are certain people that relate to the lyrics”, so expect a powerful and impressive final gig.
Support for the evening comes from Cactus and Cardigan, Disco Cats and Ewan Mcconologue.
