Mercury music award nominated, Magic Numbers are no strangers to the Highlands having played Hogmanay celebrations as well as headlining Belladrum five years ago and Loopallu more recently. During their time together they have supported the likes of The Who whilst also regular festival players (including Glastonbury) and it could be argued that tracks such as “Love Me Like You” and “Love’s a Game” provide an excellent chilled out, melodic soundtrack to the summer.

The twenty one date UK tour sees the two pairs of siblings play acoustically and if some articles are to be believed they are even promising a Q and A session at the gig. The band are currently preparing a follow-up to their third album ,“The Runaway”, with Romeo promising “This new album has some of the best songs I’ve ever written, so I’m really eager for people to hear it.”

Tickets for the show are available via Ironworks on the 3rd of June.

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
