Well, that’s next Valentine’s sorted! Scooty and The Skyhooks are returning to the Inverness Ironworks on Saturday 16 February 2013 for a night of Soul and Motown. Their infrequent appearances mean their gigs at Ironworks are always sold out.

In the 80s, Scooty played to packed dance floors all over the North of Scotland. After a triumphant reunion gig in 2009, Scooty have maintained a high profile supporting Craig Charles and Jools Holland. The 11 piece, complete with brass section are one of the top bands of any genre from the Highlands and are a treat both for your ears and your feet.

Do yourself a favour and get along on Friday 16th November and get a couple of tickets for you and your loved one. You know it makes sense!

Support will come from Slammin’ Sam Band

Tickets available via www.IronworksVenue.com.

Irn Bru, AC/DC and the Glasgow Apollo. That’s me. What does that tell you? That I’m an elderly classic rock lover with a rubbish diet.I’ve lived in the Highlands for last 20 years and am a music fan – anything with a chorus; everything from Taylor Swift and Girls Aloud to the aforementioned AC/DC and Biffy Clyro. I’ve played guitar and sung in bands most of my adult life, including everything from punk to ceilidh to rock. It’s all a joy. I’ve got to say I really like working for Inverness Gigs – I’ll be the one at the Ironworks drinking the Irn Bru! You can contact Jim directly at Jim@Invernessgigs.co.uk
