Bfest 349 400x600 - Kazabian for Christmas

The Complete Stone Roses, Kazabian and, the recently at the Ironworks, This is Nirvana are in danger of changing the image of tribute acts. Indeed , Kazabian, has seen coverage in Q Magazine, Esquire, the Guardian and  NME TV.The band were last seen in the area playing B-Fest 2012 (See below for bucketful of photos from Kazabian at B-Fest 2012), warming the crowds up before The Proclaimers. Gaining fans from within the band they cover, Tom Meighan said “They make venues crumble where we ain’t got time to” with Serge Pizzorno adding “They’re f**king amazing”.

Of course it is an opportunity to see all the hits played from “Kasabian”, “Empire”,“West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum”, and “Velociraptor!”.

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
