Hootananny will hold a live music event as part of Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival 2012 on Wednesday October 31st 2012.
The aim of the festival is to challenge preconceptions about mental health, with a particular focus on this year being on childhood and memory, priding itself on being one of Scotland’s most diverse cultural events.
It will be the first time the venue has hosted an event for the festival. Hootananny will be opening up two floors to allow 8 bands of genres ranging from prog-rock to metal, certainly should be a little bit of what you fancy. The line up currently includes Zombie Militia, Cleavers, Toby Michaels Rolling Damned, Swamp Radio, Skeleton Verse, Last Summer Effect and Searching For Donkeys.
Music starts at 9 pm with entry by donation and all money going to Birchwood Highland and you can find more details on the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival 2012.
