Fatherson have announced a show at the Ironworks on Thursday 11th October.
The three piece originally from Kilmarnock have already made a big splash on the festival circuit after scoring a slot at T in the Park. Not to mention they have supported big names such as Feeder and fellow Scotsmen Twin Atlantic which has seen Fatherson’s infectious brand of power pop sweep the UK music scene.
They have been described as “equal parts nineties grunge, scots indie and epic folk”, a mix which has seen them sell out legendary Scottish music venues such as King Tuts Wah Wah Hut.Locally they were last seen at BFest and Belladrum.
After catching the eye of BBC bigwigs with their live sessions for BBC Introducing, it’s only a matter of time before Fatherson become the next “big thing”so head down to the Ironworks to catch a glimpse of them before they blow up.
You can read our Fatherson interview from February.
