Dingus Khan announce much anticipated Scottish tour dates, including Mad Hatters, Inverness on the 25th of October.
According to the the Urban Dictionary, Dingus Khan is defined as “Someone that is the king of craziness, and liked in doing so. Derived from the dude Genghis Khan”.
Perhaps an appropriate name for the band then? Dingus Khan are an eight piece from Manningtree who are mixing charm with a raw rock and roll edge. This is definitely one band that cannot be pigeon holed.
Championed by BBC’s Steve Lamacq who even had them perform a beautifully chaotic version of single Made a List at the historic Maida Vale studios. After just one listen you can see why this band has been wowing crowds all over at this year’s Camden Crawl and Lattitude with the crazy energy that just oozes out of them (I mean this is a band with THREE drummers).
So if you’re ready for complete and utter madness check out their gigs all over Scotland in October to coincide with the release of their album through Fierce Panda, just remember to bring an oxygen mask to keep up.
Dingus Khan take their own brand of punk to Sneaky Pete’s, Edinburgh on the 24th, Mad Hatters, Inverness on the 25th, and the Jager Room in Stornoway on the 26th of October so prepare to fall in love with them.
