Runrig are set to play to a full house at the Northern Meeting Park in Inverness on Saturday 25th August following today’s announcement by promoters CK Events that the concert, their only outdoor Scottish show for 2012, has now sold out.
A spokesperson for CK Events said, “It’s great that our Inverness shows are selling so well. Runrig are always going to be popular and it’s great that they chose to do their only outdoor Scottish 2012 show in the capital of the Highlands.”
“We’re conscious of the fact that not everyone who wants to see them will have had the chance to purchase tickets, so we are looking to see, if we have any options open to allow, us to sell, a small limited number of extra tickets, closer to the concert, to accommodate as many fans as possible.”
The concert is one of a number of shows making up this years Summer In The City event in Inverness, which is starts on the 23rd August. the others being JLS on Thursday 23rd August, Status Quo on Friday 24th August and Jools Holland on Sunday 26th August.
Tickets are selling well for all shows over the long weekend, and music fans are being encouraged to buy sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
Tickets are available online from ckevents.net, in person at Cafferys Menswear in Union St, Inverness or by phone on 0844 888 9991
