Heaven’s Basement will return to Mad Hatters, Inverness on May 31st, 2012.
Legend (for legend read Wikipedia) would have it that the band’s first break came in May 2008 when their first demo got into the hands of Bon Jovi through a radio DJ. A performance with the band at the City of Manchester Stadium followed shortly afterwards.
Since that point they have played with the likes of Thunder, Papa Roach and Black Stone Cherry and at festivals such as Sonisphere and Download. Rock Pulse, on reviewing their 2011 EP release concluded: “Heaven’s Basement have proved that you can mix the quality of Shinedown, the f**k-you attitude of 1987 vintage G’n’R, the cool harmonies of Nickelback with awesome effect – all topped off with a distinctive English accented vocal” (full review see here).
The Inverness date will be part of a Scottish tour before their appearance at Download 2012 in June.
The show is free entry with doors at 8.00 pm and support from ROADWAY and Toby Michaels.
