Matalan will host the Birchwood Highland charity fashion show on the 1st of April, 2012, including raffle to win festival tickets.

Hosted by STV’s Nicola McAlley, Birchwood Highland’s charity fashion show will take place on Sunday 1st April 2012 with doors opening at 6.30pm (for a 7.00pm start) in Matalan, Inshes Retail Park. The evening will see the latest styles modelled by people of all ages, including male models from Inverness Shinty Club! There will be a raffle with some great prizes, including a £200 cash prize, 2 tickets to Rockness (includes camping), 2 tickets to Belladrum Festival (includes camping and up to 3 under 12’s), 4 tickets to Brew at the Bog Festival and a lot of other goodies kindly donated by various businesses around Inverness. There will also be a 10% discount on all shopping at Matalan on the night.

Birchwood Highland is a Charity based in Inverness promoting independence, inclusion, and recovery for vulnerable people and individuals with mental health issues in the Highlands. The aim is to increase a person’s capacity to live independently and feel part of the community, thus reducing feelings of isolation. Through supporting people to build self-confidence and adopt lifestyles that improve their health and wellbeing.

Brian Vass, Birchwood Highland’s Communications and Fundraising Officer, said, “We are delighted to have the support we’ve received from Matalan, Rockness, Belladrum, Brew at the Bog, Nicola McAlley, Inverness Shinty Club and the models, along with everyone else who has contributed to the event. It promises to be a great fun evening and we have some really excellent prizes on offer in our raffle, so please come along and support your local mental health charity.”
