Nazareth to play The Ironworks,Inverness on the 11th of March,2012.
Over 40 years and 60 millions records sold, Nazareth rightfully can claim the title of one of the UK’s finest ever classic rock bands and,of course, one of Scotlands biggest musical exports. Known for songs such as Bad Bad Boy’, ‘Broken Down Angel’ , ‘Love Hurts’ and ‘My White Bicycle’.
Their recent album ‘Big Dogz’ was released in April 2011,Paul identified that the LP saw an element of change for the band: “They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but having recorded the new album ‘Big Dogz’ I don’t agree. We’ve got some tasty bones here!” Prog Rock bloggers Sea of Tranquility ventured “Big Dogz should dispel any ideas that Nazareth are nothing more than a nostalgia act touring the world with a greatest hits set of songs from 25-30 years ago. This band has consistently recorded new material throughout their career, and they are arguably making better original music now than have since the early 80’s” (‘Big Dogz’ review)
