Runrig return to Inverness

Following an 18 month break, Runrig have announced that they will be playing their only outdoor Scottish date on Saturday 25th August 2012 at Northern Meeting Park, Inverness.

With 13 albums and a year off their 40th in the business, Runrig are surely to pull a massive crowd the the 7500 capacity venues.

Kenny Cameron of CK Events said:

“We’re delighted to be bringing Runrig back to Scotland after a two year absence….Runrig is a long-standing Scottish group, renowned for always putting on a great show. To welcome the band to Inverness for its only outdoor Scottish concert of the year, is a great honour and is shaping-up to be a fantastic night featuring performances of hits including Loch Lomond as well as new material prepared in recent months.”

Tickets for the Runrig concert on Saturday 25th August are on sale from Friday 2nd December and available from ckevents.net or by calling 0844 888 9991. Tickets are priced at £36.
