How did the night go for the band?

The night went well, we were pleased to see our regulars there (who definitely don’t go unappreciated) and was good to see some new faces enjoying our set. And we all thoroughly enjoyed playing to Madhatters again.

Did you catch the other bands on the bill, if so what did you think?

We were all very impressed by Farewell Singapore and would love to see them again, and play with them again.

How can people get hold of you the EP?

At the moment we just have physical copies for sale from the band members, though hoping to be on iTunes soon.

If people are interested they can message the facebook page for more detail (www.facebook.com/lastsummereffect).

When are you playing next?

We are playing an acoustic set supporting Torridon on the 27th Aug in Contin, tickets £10.

Thanks to Last Summer Effect for taking the time to talk to us !!

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
