He will be joined by the,‘ Punchy, perceptive and puerile’,(The List) Gary Little. He came to prominence in 2003 after becoming a finalist in The Stand Comedy Club/Daily Record New Talent Search. He is now a well established on the comedy scene and is a recognised as an established headline act in clubs throughout Scotland.

Combining a chilled nature with a confident approach to his comedy is  Davey Connor , he commented in a recent article that “The great thing about playing in places like Inverness, Aberdeen and Perth is that they feel more ‘Scottish’ than Edinburgh and Glasgow, as they now have an international feel to them”. Adopting an observational style to his comedy, he has had support slots with the likes of Russell Kane, Daniel Sloss and Jenny Eclair.

The final comedian on the bill is Barry McDonald, who is an FHM Comedian of the year finalist and is described as becoming the thinking man’s comedian. Barry described his venture into comedy as an early mid life crisis, our favourite quote on his promotion material is one from his wife ….”You’re not that f**king funny”.

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
