Taking place over the last weekend of July and first week of August in venues all over the Highlands, the Tartan Heart fringe is back. With a wide array of event meeting a good mix of musical tastes.

Dave Sharpe returns, to what appears to be his spiritual home with a Fringe tour taking in Aviemore ( Old Bridge Inn July 28), Thurso (The New Market Bar July 29 & 30) Dunnet Head (Light House July 31) Strathpeffer (Coffee Shop (Video-cast) Aug 1) Ullapool ( Loch Broom FM 7pm ) Aug 2 Ullapool (Argyll Hotel 9pm)

The Annual Charity Bar Bee Q (in aid of Down’s Sydrome kids) 1pm –6pm on  the 30th of July at Maple Court Hotel, acts are still to be confirmed.

Ceol-Mor will play host to three of the events including The Little Mill Of Happiness on the 30th of July, The Sunshine Delay on the 31st of July (6-7pm) and David Latto on August the 4th.

August the 4th also sees the Hothouse at Hoots event, which is at er Hootananny, where Jeep Solid, Diddums, Dumb Instrument and The Well Green will be playing.
