Following on from the goNORTH announcement, it has just been announced that local favourites, The Side, will be supporting Simple Minds in the forthcoming Summer in the City.
With the latest EP almost complete and the recent announcement that the they would be supporting Texas at a forthcoming Luxembourg festival, it looks as if it’s going to be a good summer indeed for The Side.
They will be joined by GoGoBot the electro-rock trio, who identify influences such as Scissor Sisters, Sparks, Muse, Bjork, Queen and Rush have merged to create a distinctive spectrum of sound.
Tickets for Summer in the City (Northern Meeting Park, Inverness, 17th of July) are available through normal on-line vendors.
