Mark Watson has announced on his own blog (here) that he has subsided to pressure (Inverness is one of three most frequently requested for tour shows) to play the Ironworks on the 10th of December.
Mark came to the attention of the comedy world in 2002 when he wan the Daily Telegraph Open Mic competition and was also a runner-up in So You Think You’re Funny?
He can frequently be on Mock The Week, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and shows of a similar ilk. He can also be heard of Radio Five’s Fighting Talk.
The Gaurdian suggested that “if a tornado could be a bumbling and loveable while blowing things around, the experience would be similar to a Mark Watson stand-up set” echoed by The Telegraph who described his set as “ A breathlessly delivered stream-of-consciousness routine”.
Mark noted on his site:
If you are in Inverness, see if you can make it to this show. It’d be a delightful irony if after all this back-and-forth, nobody turned up. And by delightful, I mean somewhat disappointing
Mark will be at the Ironworks on the 10th of December, ticket details will be announced soon.
