Iona McPartlan

I’m Iona and live in Nairn and still just a teenager! I’ve been listening to music for as long as I can remember (since the days of trying to rewind my Busted and S Club 7 tapes back to the start of my favourite songs.) Luckily my musical taste has moved on since then! I listen to lots of different artists including many of the local bands and singers. I like most types of music (well except classical and I’m not the biggest fan of thrash metal!) I have been going to festivals since I was seven and love going to gigs (although there aren’t many venues locally that I can get into because of my age) A lot of people think that because I listen to music so much that I can play instruments and sing but that is definitely wrong (I’m a bit of a failure when it comes to playing instruments!) I don’t care if a band or singer is signed, unsigned, famous or up and coming, if they play good music then that’s all that matters.
