iGigs Contributors share their Belladrum playlists

Now that we’re on the countdown to Belladrum, we thought we’d introduce you to the team who’ll be bringing you the news and coverage over the weekend at Belladrum. We’ve asked each of them to tell us a little about themselves and share a playlist of Belladrum artists that they’re looking forward to seeing. Keep an eye out over the next few days for the playlists from each of our contributors.

First up is one of the newer members of the team. Angus McLennan is a photographer and has already covered a few gigs for us – check out some of his photos from the MacMoray fest

What do you most enjoy about covering Belladrum?
This is my first Belladrum I’ve covered so I am very excited to finally be able to get into the heart of the festival and document it for iGigs. Belladrum has always on the bucketlist of festivals to shoot and I can’t wait to cover it.

Tell us a bit about your Belladrum playlist
For my Spotify playlist, I have decided to highlight some of the bands I’m hoping to catch and cover at Belladrum, and some new finds I like and hope to check out as well. This year has a diverse variety of music and I’m excited to see it live.

All things Belladrum can be found on our Belladrum Festival Page.

We would really appreciate if you consider “Buying us a Coffee”. It is a particularly difficult time for every one and a small donation helps us to pay the bills associated with running the website and we really do appreciate it.

I've always loved music and spent my late teens and early twenties playing guitar in various bands on Lewis and Aberdeen. Other than playing in some truly terrifying pubs in Aberdeen not much came of it and life became focused on family and having a 'proper' job. Inverness Gigs is an outlet for me to quell my inner frustrated musician and the caliber of local acts has even inspired me to take my own music more seriously again. Who knows, one day I might venture back on stage under the fierce scrutiny of an Inverness Gigs reviewer! You can contact Toby direct at Toby@Igi.gs
