Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival release plans for 3 day virtual festival.
The depths of COVID winter 2020, calls for a bit of Belladrum magic. “A Very… Bella Christmas” brings a little cheer with a Bella Crimbo combo including, live music, storytelling, magic, family shows, a quiz and a Gaelic Panto.
An eclectic musical line-up includes Torridon (of course), Project Smok, Calum & Sean (from Ho-ro), the Bella Carol Singers and Andy Duncan who has lead the campfire singalong at the Bella Bar, closing this stage for the past few years at the festival. Also joining the mix will be a Gaelic Panto in association with Feisean nan Gaidheal, Fun Box, interactive quiz and a Belladrum Christmas Bedtime Story read by hosts of the summer event, Jamie MacDonald and Nicola McAlley.


A family activity pack is also available to download from the 14th of December ,via the Belladrum website, which includes a variety of activities and goodies

‘A very.. Bella Christmas’ compliments the release of the festival’s charity single inspired 12 Days of Christmas re-written by Hamish Macdonald and featuring, Julie Fowlis, Gary Innis, Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5, Torridon, The Dangleberries, Rhythmnreel and James Mackenzie. The 2nd track features a version of Silent Night by pupils from Bella’s local primary schools Tomnacross. You can purchase the single (along with a pile of other Christmas goodies) at the Belladrum shop.
Belladrum returns in 2021 with Nile Rodgers & Chic and Emeli Sande joined by Van Morrison for the Tartan Heart Festival in 2021.
