We introduce you to The Trad Project and ask them a few question ahead of their forthcoming gigs.

Who are you ?

Calum Mackenzie Jones – Guitar & Vocals
Euan MacPhail – Fiddle
Shannon Marley – Bass Guitar
Angus Montgomery – Drums
Donald Barker – Keys – currently on an exciting expedition, exploring New Zealand in search of new tunes – he will be back

What do you do ?

We’ll be hitting the festival scene running this year with a set of driving, upbeat tunes, original songs and the odd traditional Scottish favourite.

Where are you going ?

We have an absolute belter of a year lined up with performances at numerous Scottish festivals already announced and some big ones still to come.

We’re also planning on recording our first EP and hopefully a tour of the Higlands and Islands.

Killin Music Festival – Saturday 16th June
Tiree Music Festival – 12th-15th July
Speyfest – 27th-29th July
