Ironworks gets Space

Space to play Ironworks in April, 2016.

Purveyors of “gritty edgy pop” and the Liverpool band were formed in 1993. It was with the release of album ‘Spiders’ a couple of years later that they were drawn to prominence. The LP spawning the likes of  ‘Neighbourhood’, ‘Me & You Vs the World’ and ‘Female of the Species’. The latter making it back to the charts in 2015 on the compilation “TFI Album”.

Veterans from the beginning of the band Thomas Scott, Alan Jones and Francis Griffiths are joined by 2011 recruits Ryan Clark and Phil Hartley for the current version of the band.

“Give me your Future” , the latest album is out in May 2016, with the  album also giving is name to the tour that brings the band to Inverness , and various other venues around the UK and Ireland from April to June.

Space will play Ironworks on the 22nd of April, 2016.

Tickets are on sale on Friday the 19th of February, from Ironworks website.
