Josephine Sillars releases new single ahead of King Tuts Wah Wah Hut performance.
Described by Qmunicate Magazine as “A talented pianist and vocalist, Sillar’s strongest asset is her raw skill as a musician. Her voice is pretty yet strong, with a distinctive highland lilt betraying her roots.”
Josephine will be following on from the release of ‘Ripped from the Wire Spine’ earlier in the year, by returning to the same studio, Chem 19, to record latest single ‘Vincent’.
The track is inspired by one of the art world’s most famous figures, Josephine explains; “The song was written after I read that Van Gogh used to eat yellow paint to make his insides happy”. The single will be debuted on the Roddy Hart Show on BBC Radio Scotland on December 7th.
‘Vincent’ will be available for download, via iTunes, on December 14th, and will also be performed at the world famous King Tuts Wah Wah Hut on December 17th, when she supports Rachelle Rhine
