Salt Water for all

Red Kites to play Inverness as part of their promotional tour for their new single.

April saw the band make their last excursion to Mad Hatters (see photos of the night) although there was a another visit for lead singer, Moteh Parott when they played Jocktoberfest. By all accounts an impressively well received set for the Black Isle event, who are no strangers to local festivals with Belladrum, Rockness and goNORTH adding to an impressive CV.

The 5 date tour starts with the official launch for single “Salt Water” on the 2nd of December in Brighton and finishing in Inverness on the 13th (See full tour details).

Red Kites, with support from Lionel (acoustic set), and Barry Mackay, will next play Inverness at Mad Hatters on Saturday December 13th. Tickets cost £5.00 and are available online from www.scottish.ticketsource.co.uk and in person from Eden Court Box Office.

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
