On their first trip to Inverness since 2012, Nazareth are to play The Ironworks in April.

The current tour introduces new front man Linton Osborne replacement for Dan Cafferty who was forced to retire following continued issues with his health. Talking of Linton coming on board, the website declared that “His enthusiasm and energy has been a shot in the arm for the band, and a real boost after the keen sense of loss and sadness at the sudden retirement of our dear friend and brother, Dan.”
Linton joins the current lineup which features sole remaining original member Pete Agnew on bass, his son Lee on drums and guitarist Jimmy Murrison. The band currently have plans to tour in Russia, America and Europe in 2014 as well as releasing the final McCafferty fronted album for the band.
Nazareth plays The Ironworks on the 10th of April, 2014, Tickets on sale via The Ironwork’s website.
