Let’s Go 8 – End of Summer Party 24th August 2013 at Karma Lounge, Inverness.
This Saturday night local events crew, Let’s Go, bring their “End of Summer Party” to the Karma Lounge.
Let’s Go is an events team ran by local lads, Jordan Cooper, Cameron Lovett, Ieuan Gittings and Matthew Gordon.
The boys’ debut event was at Bogbain Farm, back in July 2012. Since then, Let’s Go have quickly established their nights as one for local clubbers to look forward to.
The Summer send off party, which will be their eighth night, gives us a line up of some very exciting local DJs. Let’s Go founder,Jordan Cooper, will be kicking off proceedings on the night. Expect some really nice house vibes in amongst his set, to get everyone set up for what promises to be a great night.
Joining him will be Moray DJ, Aaron Russell. Aaron is a DJ certainly on the rise. Since winning the Rockness festival DJ competition back in May, he has became a regular on the Inverness circuit, as well as making an appearance at the Mothers Ruin stage at the Belladrum Festival. Check out Aaron’s winning Rockness mix to see what he’s likely to be playing on the night.
Also on Saturday’s line up is Inverness regular and favourite, Alan Grant. In the past, Alan has supported Vitalic and Gary Beck, as well as making regular appearances at Belladrum and Rockness festivals. Anything goes with Alan, so prepare for an exciting and eclectic set.
Last, but by no means least on the line up, is KAX, otherwise known as Khalid Hussain. As one half of rising electronic act Count Clockwork, KAX has just returned from supporting chart topper Avicii in Glasgow. If Count Clockwork sets are anything to go by, expect the Karma Lounge to be bouncing. Check out KAX’s Soundcloud to get a taste of what he’s about:
Let’s Go kicks off at 11pm and finishes at 3am on the night. Get yourselves down there as early as possible to catch all of the dj talent on offer! Let’s Go 8 has all the ingredients to be a cracker.
