Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire to The Ironworks

Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire come to The Ironworks, Inverness on Saturday the 9th of November, 2013.

Roddy has built up a significant follow as a solo artist, but the move to being in a band has seen a change of pace, as The Pop Cop describes ; “The Glaswegian has vacated the singer-songwriter path and is aiming for a Springsteen meets The National vibe.”

Blending together American and Celtic soul,  the seven-piece have been at work on their long awaited album which is due out on Monday the 2nd of September 2013. The album promises to be of “epic proportions: dark, brooding and atmospheric, but shot through with moments of beauty and hope.”
