Alabama 3 are to play Ironworks, Inverness of the 8th of December, 2013.

TBP Alabama 3 RockNess Dores Inverness UK DSC1396 600x399 - Ironworks brings the “Sweet Pretty Muthafuckin Country Acid House Music”

The band from Brixton, have taken up residence in the Highlands (it seems) with this being their third gig in the area this year. Indeed it’s hard to think that audiences could bore of the band  whether that that’s the anthem for a million hangovers in ‘Woke up this Morning’ or  ‘Hello… I’m Johnny Cash’ or well you get the idea.

It shouldn’t take much  to go see the band live, but here’s how they would encourage you;

“ We know you’ve had trouble in your life, real bad trouble. We know you’ve got debts. We know you’ve had your heart broken so many times you’re still finding pieces of it in your pillow. Maybe you’ve done some good things in your life, maybe you’ve done some bad things. We forgive you. Forgive yourself. Then dress up real sexy and come and party with us sometime. We’ll look after you.That’s a promise.”

Tickets via The Ironworks on sale Friday 28th June at 10 am.

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene.In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
