Jack Beats way to Ironworks

London duo Jack Beats bring their DJ set to the Ironworks on Saturday the 22nd of December.

Veterans of the music scene, producers Beni G and Plus One create a floor-filling brand of house by cutting, copying and pasting wobbly bass lines, big breakdowns and edgy accapellas that blends House, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass and Dubstep with Electro and Baltimore Club. The resultant genre blurring creates a sound which is “futuristic, hybrid, bass music for clubs without boundaries”. Iain Roullier, on reviewing their mini album, Careless describes it is “Accessible, uplifting dance music you will be hearing much more of”.

Tickets go on sale on the 12th of October via www.IronworksVenue.com

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
