invernessGiGs, and with very special thanks to Ryan Cook, are proud to announce that they will be hosting a tent at BFest 2012. The tent’s,whose full name will be “singNsign presented by invernessGiGs” , will offer both an opportunity to catch a few words and an autograph from some of the acts. In addition some of the bands will also also performing an acoustic set on the day. The line-up for the tent currently includes James Mackenzie, Fatherson, Imagineers and Katie Sutherland, with the normal promise of a bit of chaos, flexibility and more than a couple of surprises.

Ryan Cook stated ”We are delighted to have the addition of the singNsign this year to the festival, it will give festival goers a chance to meet and greet some of their favourite artists and hear some great acoustic music in a chilled out environment”

Chris Lemon of invernessGiGs said “we are really pleased that Ryan Cook and BFest have given us the opportunity to host our first tent at a festival, and cannot express fully our gratitude for the chance to bring a little bit of invernessGiG up to Wick”  It will also be a great opportunity to say hi to the people that make invernessGiGs come alive, whether that’s musicians or music lovers.

BFest recently announced it had stretched to two days with The LaFontaines headlining Friday and The Proclaimers on the Saturday. With ticket sales going very well grab one before they are gone.. Tickets are available from outlets (see poster) or via www.seetickets.com.

Of course if you can’t wait the Wee B is just around the corner, with tickets just off the press and promising a great array of talent: on Saturday LightGuide, James Mackenzie, KOBI, Oskar Empire, Graham Brown, Penguins Kill Polar Bears, Winnie, Crazy Cottage, Sid Davidson and on Sunday: Iain McLaughlin & the Outsiders, Maydays, Finding Albert, Always the Sixth, Sheppy, Outlanders, Bo T, Megan Blyth, Jamie Reid. icket for the Wee B are currently available via the Black Stairs Lounge, Wick.
