Easter Showcases at the Ironworks announced

Ironworks, Inverness is proud to announce that following the ultra-successful Summer and Winters Showcases that an Easter Showcase will take place on April 7th at the venue again supported by new media partnerships with popular local website invernessGiGs and established Inverness based podcast Netsounds Unsigned.

8 Top quality acts from around the Highlands have been picked to deliver an exciting musical showcase of some of the very best talent causes waves in the area right now.

Debutant showcase acts include alternative rock band Last Summer Effect, electro pop rap trio Team Kapowski and groove metallers, Messaine. They will be joined by The Frues, Them & Us, Swamp Radio and Zombie Militia. Ashley Mackay will be the only act to has been at all three showcases.

Ironworks booking assistant Steve Robertson said “Everyone at the venue was delighted at the Summer Showcases last year and the recent Winter Showcases really stepped things in with the introduction of two stages and this showcase truly spotlights a diverse range of excellent talent”.

Murray Cameron executive producer for Netsounds Unsigned podcast said “Netsounds unsigned is delighted to be once again associated with the Ironworks Showcase. This is the most eclectic line up so far and shows the incredible variety of musicians Inverness/The Highlands has to offer”

Inverness GiGs founder Chris Lemon said “”to go from the tenacious Last Summer Effect to the beauty of Ashley Mackay via the heavy metal of Zombie Militia, the Easter Showcase once again shows the quality and depth of musical ability that the area has to offer”
