The Encore Summer Sizzler Parties are one of a series of events being hosted by the stylish Academy Street hotel in partnership with local promotions company, Highland Eventz.

The weekly party will be held on the hotel’s outdoor terrace, where guests and locals will be treated to a delicious flame grilled barbecue prepared by one of the hotel’s resident chefs and washed down with a glass of Pimms for an all-inclusive £8.95. Children under 12 eat for FREE. Party-goers will also be entertained by live music throughout the evening.

Shawn Wynne, Ramada Encore’s sales manager, commented, “We are really excited about launching this new party night for our guests and locals. Our outdoor terrace is a well kept secret in Inverness and in case the Scottish weather lets us down our vibrant HUB bar is available for party goers to enjoy their barbeque and drinks in the warm!”

For those making a night of it Ramada Encore has teamed up with Hush Nightlife, the boutique lounge next door to the hotel, where Summer Sizzler party-goers will receive their second cocktail free of charge.

Darren Mackintosh of Highland Eventz said, “We are delighted to be working with the city centre’s newest and most contemporary hotel and are excited to be launching our full calendar of events and promotions in the coming weeks.”

Word is still to reach us about what kind of music will be featured, but we are fairly confident it will not be ToeCutter

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
