We are sorry to announce that Frightened Rabbit will be unable to play this year’s Belladrum Festival. Yesterday we were offered a tour of the US that we simply could not turn down. We are very disappointed not to play this year but we hope you understand our decision. Belladrum is one of our favourite festivals and we know that you will all still have a lovely weekend. We would also like to thank the organisers for asking us to be part of their great festival and hopefully we can make it back in the future
Given the proximity of the announcement of them playing at Belladrum (7 days ago) this must be a bitter pill to swallow. But keeping with the pill analogy what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. It will be interesting to see what happens next with the line-up, will the organisers look to promote from within the bill, or is there ample time to look at bringing someone else in?
