Whilst we have been hoping that their would be a substantial amount of dance music announced for Rockness, we had also been aware that their had been a number of changes in the layout of the site. The latest announcement has combined these two bits of information by identifying that Modeselektor, Magda and Jamie XX will be headlining the new Sub Club Sound arena.
Sub Club has “A reputuation that promises no prejudice and no limits when it comes to enjoying great music” and so will be seen as a great way of appeasing or luring club fans to Rockness.
Other acts announced include Raresh, Subculture,Matthew Dear, Optimo,DJ Karim and Dave Barbossa, Sensu,Jackmaster, Boom Monk Ben, HaHaHa and Clouds (soon to be seen at the Filth Easter party @ the Ironworks).
